German coloring
The German trench raider is historically accurate in coloring, but I played around with the shoulder pauldrons and gave them a copper like feel. Not sure if that would have been very helpful to a German in the trenches, but it looks cool!
Might go for a more "boiled" leather look next time. Also, his giant padded gloves are a little too hidden.
Second option
This is more of a late-war color scheme but I added a little of my own style into it. Also, the armor is more "boiled" leather than metal. It's amazing what just a different color and a change of texturing can do :)
Two color options
New attempt at coloring the French soldier. This color scheme is more historically accurate, but the armor is more of a heavy tin type material (early, early tin :))

Austro-Hungarian grenadier
The armor is not as heavy on this guy but he is still a front-line soldier. Gas mask technology has advanced since the early days of the war.

Alternate History
I spent tonight drawing this German soldier from an "alternate" universe. Basically, World War One never ended and sort of merged what would be WW2 technology. I plan to do a few more in this series, maybe some vehicles.

939
Another practice for my Project 939 comic. The figures are just a quick lighting exercise and not drawn very well.

Project 939
Quick rendering of a building from the comic I am writing/drawing. It takes place in 1981 at my old university and most of these buildings no longer exist, so I'm trying to figure out the correct look.

Tie Bomber Pilot
This is a design I've wanted to do for a long time. It's a different take on the Tie Fighter pilot flight suit, but for a Tie Bomber pilot. I based it on WWII bomber pilot designs and may tweak with a larger coat and different ammo carry. Part two coming up soon :)
